Victor Pilmoor has an analytical mind, a head for figures that would baffle lesser mortals, and a keen sense of humour. As a pastor's kid he travelled extensively, spending his formative years in South Africa. Far from holding him back he sees these experiences as overwhelming positively. "It was great fun," he says. Now, as treasurer of the British Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, facing major decisions and intense pressures, he's still determined to have fun. "Problem solving is a joy; it's fun. I end up being miserable if I don't have a problem to solve," he says.
