From humble surroundings in the North of England John Arthur left what could have been a secure job in a ship-yard to the less secure if more exciting world of Christian book-selling, ministry and eventually church leadership and ADRA director. His service to ADRA led him to receive an OBE from Queen Elizabeth II. This is a story of enthusiasm, joy and commitment.
